Welcome to the homepage of the United NorthWest Model Railroad Club. We are a Seattle-based, non-profit, 100% volunteer group that seeks to better our community and promote the hobby of model railroading. We actively participate in railroad shows and events throughout the year with the club's 3 traveling layouts and annually organize the region's largest train show where all ticket sale proceeds are donated to charity. In the last 3 decades, UNW Model Railroad Club has raised $350,000 for charitable organizations in the region with a focus on those helping children and their families.

The Monroe Show Returns for 2026!
Don't miss the 33rd Washington State Model Railroad Show & Marketplace (WSMRS&M), hosted by the United NorthWest Model Railroad Club on February 21 & 22, 2026 at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, WA.
Whether you're a seasoned railroading enthusiast or just curious to learn more, this event welcomes visitors of all ages. Explore detailed model railroad layouts, unique displays, and a lively marketplace offering items in G, O, S, HO, N, Z-scale, and even 7-1/2" gauge live-steam operating trains. It's an engaging and memorable experience for families and hobbyists alike.
As the largest all-scale model railroad show on the West Coast, the WSMRS&M is dedicated to more than just showcasing the art of model railroading - it's about making a difference. Over the past 30 years, the event has raised nearly $350,000 to support youth development programs that empower children and strengthen families. This year, proceeds will benefit the Snohomish County 4-H Foundation, continuing this proud tradition of giving back.

Dates and Show Times: Saturday, February 21, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Sunday, February 22, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Admission: Adults (18+): $ 12 Juniors (10-17): $ 10 Seniors (65+): $ 10 Military (w/ID): $ 10 Kids (9 & Under): Free with paid adult admission! Admission is Valid for Both Days! Debit/Credit Payment $0.75 Fee Per Transaction. FREE Parking is available in the YELLOW Lot off Cascade View Drive.
The Inside Lot (between Longhouse and Arena, east side of 179th) and the West Lot (on the west side of 179th) will be $5 parking. This is a decision from the Fairgrounds not the WSMRS&M or 4-H! None of the parking fees collected are shared with the WSMRS&M or 4-H!
