Welcome to the homepage of the United NorthWest Model Railroad Club. We are a Seattle-based, non-profit, 100% volunteer group that seeks to better our community and promote the hobby of model railroading. We actively participate in railroad shows and events throughout the year with the club's 3 traveling layouts and annually organize the region's largest train show where all ticket sale proceeds are donated to charity. In the last 3 decades, UNW Model Railroad Club has raised nearly $350,000 for charitable organizations in the region with a focus on those helping children and their families.

Evergreen State Fairgrounds, Monroe WA
UNW Model Railroad Club is excited to announce the dates for the 32nd WA State Model Train Show & Marketplace at Monroe, WA will be February 22nd & 23rd, 2025!
The Washington State Model Train Show & Marketplace is a family-friendly event, perfect for kids, parents, and train enthusiasts alike. This all-scales model railroad show features layouts, local historical society presentations, how-to demonstrations, and items for sale of all scales, including G, O/0, S, H0, N, and Z scales; and has featured a display of 7-1/2" gauge live-steam operating trains.
Explore amazing model train layouts, shop from top vendors, and let the kids enjoy interactive displays. With free admission for kids under 9, it’s an affordable way to spend your weekend!
The WA State Model Train Show & Marketplace has become the largest All-Scale model train show on the West Coast, and continues to be one of the only charitable fundraising shows in the nation! In the last 3 decades UNW Model Railroad Club has raised nearly $350,000 for charitable organizations in the region with a focus on youth development programs helping children and families.
